The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Conakry provides the following services to U.S. citizens:
- Issuances of travel warnings and medical alerts,
- Passport issuance and renewals,
- Registration of U.S. citizens, and
- Other services such as notarials and the issuance of certificates of birth to U.S. citizens born abroad.

Registration of U.S. Citizens
Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) applications should be submitted online at https://step.state.gov/step/. If you prefer to submit the application in person, it will be accepted only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 0800 and 1200. A copy of your U.S. passport and completed registration are required.
