On Wednesday, November 18, the State Department family celebrated the second annual LE Staff/FSN Recognition Day, when the Department of State, USAID and other foreign affairs agencies express our deep gratitude to the more than 56,000 LE Staff whose experience, expertise, and professionalism make our mission possible.
Here at the U.S. Embassy in Conakry, our LE Staff are essential to our work in Guinea. They were instrumental in adjusting our programming to provide life-saving services in response to the global pandemic while also ensuring that the Embassy could continue to function during the pandemic and the legislative and presidential elections.
They provide a window into Guinean culture, and allow us to maintain the strong relationship between Guinea and the United States. We thank them for their diligence, commitment and dedication to our Mission.
