Political and Economic

The Political/Economic Office is responsible for current and long-term reporting and analysis on Guinea including domestic and international political affairs.  The Political and Economic Section, which also operates commercial services (See Commercial Services), monitors a wide range of topics in Guinea such as:

  • Refugees
  • Social and civic freedoms and religious expression
  • Labor relations and student activism
  • Governance
  • Macroeconomic stability and growth
