Deputy Chief of Mission Anne Dudte
Anne Dudte is a career Foreign Service Officer with 16 years’ experience in Africa; 11 in West Africa. Ms. Dudte has served overseas at the U.S. embassies in The Gambia, Kenya, Namibia, and Pakistan, and the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou, China. In Washington, D.C., she worked in the Office of Foreign Assistance as a Foreign Affairs Officer and in the Administration Bureau. Prior to working for the Department in 2008, Ms. Dudte held various management positions and consultancies in the international development world, based in Washington, Indonesia, and Senegal. She served in the Peace Corps in Mali where she met her husband. She speaks French, Chinese, Wolof, and Bambara.
