Conakry Public Affairs Team visits Forest Region

Microscopes and other equipment were presented to the Rector, staff and students at University of N’Zerekore to equip its Mae Jameson laboratory for chemistry, biology and earth science.

During the week of April 9-16, PAO Teta Moehs and colleagues M. Diallo and M. Benemou traveled to the Forest Region, with stops in Mamou, Kissidougou, Faranah and N ‘Zérékoré.  Among the highlights was the delivery of lab equipment and books at University of N ‘Zérékoré, which will further enhance science programs for students.

The team also met with members of several NGOs, a school and two radio stations.

English language learning, education opportunities in the U.S., strengthening civil society and promoting economic growth were only a few of the themes discussed with Guinean partners.
