On January 26, the US Embassy participated in a reading program at St. Joseph’s School in Conakry. Three brave students discussed three biographies they read: one about Benjamin Franklin, one about Rosa Parks, and one about George Washington Carver, all of them American heroes.

The students discussed the importance of reading, and the Embassy donated a box of books to St. Joseph’s School to begin outfitting their library.
