During his visit to Kankan from July 8 to 11, 2019, the U.S. Ambassador to Guinea, Simon Henshaw, visited the Kankan Regional Hospital to meet the staff and patients benefiting from the U.S. Government assistance through the Health Service Delivery (HSD) project.
To date, the project has trained more than 100 health workers and provided the maternity of the regional hospital with new equipment to improve the quality of services provided. The Kankan Regional Hospital serves a population hundreds of thousands.
