Ambassador Simon Henshaw in Boké Region
From April 23 to 25, Ambassador Simon Henshaw visited the Boké region. He had fruitful discussions with local authorities, including the Governor, the Prefect and the first deputy Mayor of Boké.
Ambassador Henshaw also visited the bauxite mines in Boké and Boffa.
The United States is resolutely committed to promoting inclusive economic growth and prosperity in Guinea. The U.S. Ambassador also had discussions with students and teachers at the Institute of Mines and Geology of Boké, and met with a group of locally elected female political leaders.
