The Ambassador of the United States together with the Guinean Minister of National Defense and Presidential Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Diané used the day of Tuesday, July 9 to visit the Army Museum of Camp Soundiata Keita in Kankan.

The Ambassador had all the opportunity to discover the military history and heroes of Guinea from colonial times to the present day.

The American Diplomat and the Minister of Defense then went to  Soronkony Ranger Commando Camp , 25 kilometres away  from the city. The United States and Guinea maintain dynamic military cooperation relations, particularly in the context of training, the stability of the region and the fight against terrorism through the Guinean contingent within MINUSMA in Mali.
