Ambassador Henshaw pays a visit to the Prefet, Muslim and Catholic religious leaders of Kankan
Ambassador Simon Henshaw paid a working visit to Kankan, Upper Guinea, from July 8 to July 10. On this occasion, Simon Henshaw paid courtesy visits to several prominent figures in the city, notably to the Prefet Mr. Aziz Diop, to the first Imam of the Great Mosque and in other respects General Secretary of the Prefectural Islamic League, Elhadj Bangaly Kaba, and to the Bishop of the Cathedral, Monseigneur Emmanuel Félémou.
During these various discussions, Ambassador Henshaw and his hosts evoked and praised the peace and harmony that reign so well between the different communities and religions in Kankan.
